We conducted an extensive Electrical Safety Audit and system assessment for Zaki Mosharraf Skyline, a 13-storied residential building with two basement levels located in Gulshan-2, Dhaka. Following the devastating fire incident on 19 February 2023, which severely damaged the building's electrical and utility infrastructure, our team was engaged to evaluate the condition and safety of the electrical system. The assessment included detailed inspection and analysis of distribution boards, cables, breakers, and busbar systems, starting from the substation level in the basement. Through systematic surveying, data collection, and technical evaluation, we identified the extent of damage, potential safety risks, and the necessary corrective measures required for system restoration. The audit focused exclusively on the building's electrical infrastructure, excluding third-party equipment such as generators, chillers, transformers, pumps, and AC systems maintained by their respective suppliers. Our work contributed to establishing a safe and technically compliant foundation for the rehabilitation and future operation of the building.
